In this book, the author explains the prevailing contradictions in the International Pharmaceutical Industry, and shows the conflict of interests of a company whose basic interest is economic profit. This determines that the scientific research is aimed at the development of medicines -economically profitable- detriment to those needed for the majority. Subsequently, he analyzes what different theories of justice have said regarding this subject, and as an essay, suggests an ethical model applicable to each country's particularities to regulate such industry.
